- Energy advisors and modellers
- Elected representatives

Board
Meet the board and the independent supervisory board of the POTES Foundation

Alexander Wirtz
Board
Alexander is a co-creator of the Energy Transition Model (ETM). His passion is understanding what strategic questions will need to be answered in the years ahead. His goal is to help society prepare for the major challenges on the horizon.
Alexander has twenty years of experience in the energy sector. As director of POTES, he bears final responsibility for managing, renewing and developing the ETM. Alexander combines this with his job as co-owner of Quintel.

Jeroen Hazewinkel
Supervisory Board
Jeroen focuses on complex systems and transitions. He helps structures and organizations that have become rigid through decades of decisions turn their legacy and footprint into drivers for change.
Jeroen is a partner at Darel (high-stakes decarbonisation strategy and technology deployment under high uncertainty), a board member and science lead at CarbonFix (scaling early-stage climate innovations), and works as a facilitator and coach.

Martijn Douwes
Supervisory Board
Martijn has been closely involved with the development of the ETM for over ten years. Martijn connects analytical insights and strategic decision making, and helps stakeholders navigate toward a more sustainable and integrated energy future and piece together the complex puzzle of our changing energy system.
Martijn has twenty years of experience in the energy sector. Since 2017, Martijn has worked as an energy system advisor at Gasunie, contributing to visions for the future energy landscape at local, national, and North-West European levels.

Rijk van Voskuilen
Supervisory Board
